Syae has no aunts, no uncles, and the majority of her direct family are long dead, though she still often goes home to speak with them.
Religion/Philosophy: Syae is an ex-cultist who has found enlightenment in the teachings of a wandering ronin calling himself Hisoka. Syae believes in the need for self-control and discipline, the rule of tranquility over rage, but finds her temper rarely controllable without a great deal of work. She has been taught that darkness and light must always be in balance and that for as evil as one person can be they also have an equal potential for good. A follower of the sutras of both the Ashen Order and the Silent Fist Clan but often failing to properly employ them in her life, Syae is a monk walking the line between redemption and exile.

History:
Syae was born in a cavern below the Windstalker village by the hand of her mother Kairou Feriluc and her servant Tuomas Navari through the use of necromantic alchemy. Her insides are a blend of roughly hewn parts collected from across Norrath before the shattering; some from creatures as common as orcs with other pieces plucked from the fallen bodies of mastruq and dragorn. Born with no life and no soul Syae was intended to be a weapon for the cult of Nastrond.
After her creation Syae was abandoned by her mother out of boredom, leaving the task of raising the girl to the seven wives of Kairou. They looked after Syae and trained her to be a warrior; they prepared her not only as weapon but also as a person. She was taught morals and values along with tactics. This continued on for years.
The life she was given wasnt just one of blood and war though. Syae was allowed the freedoms of any young girl. She was allowed to go for walks, read books, and even head into the city just to meet people. It was a rather posh life that easily offset the battles and various tasks she was expected to perform, much like one would expect for the warrior-child of a politician.
Shortly after her sixteenth birthday Syae ended up in an explosive argument with her mother that ended with her leaving the temple in a fury, hellbent on never returning again. Sometimes Syae will tell people the fight was over something critical like good and evil, or the morality of a task she was given though she honestly tells her friends that it was an argument over her curfew that began when she wanted to stay in Qeynos until late in the night to watch some of her favorite bards.
Having left the temple and Windstalker behind her Syae began her life in Qeynos as a street rat. She was offered shelter and help many times when she was found out but her pride alone was enough to make her refuse charity. Her freedom on the streets brought her happiness. It was less extravagant but the lack of rules and caretakers made it an adventure for the young girl. She quickly found herself exploiting locals for their food in exchange for offering to share their bed for a night, sometimes leaving with more money then they had intended to spend on her.
It was all short lived though as she was caught by the city guard while she was engaging in another of her favorite hobbies: writing on city property with stolen inks and dyes. Syaes only defense of her actions was a quick shrug and giggling I thought that guard would find it funny if I wrote Gnoll Lover on the side of his horse.
Being young and being her first time caught she was shown leniency. Syae was ordered by the city to spend the rest of her formative years working off her debt at the dojo of the Silent Fist Clan. At the dojo she learned quickly to repair simple furniture, to cook, and though she wasnt trained directly she learned to fight as a monk. She would watch the trainees going through their kata as she scrubbed the floors, she would listen to the masters chant their sutra as they meditated, and she would listen to the teachings of the scholars as she raked the sand gardens where they taught.
Syae worked hard and after four years was allowed to leave her service to the dojo. Immediately she applied there as a student and was accepted despite the crimes of her past. With her years of studying and fighters training Syae had no trouble passing every physical test with ease, though she often struggled on matters of calm, center, and self control.
In time she graduated to the level of apprentice, and her life truly began from there
