Cassidhe
Full Name: Cassidhe Degahrmortath/Cass Coldarrow
Nicknames: Cass
Date of Birth: Unknown. Cass has only a vague idea of how old she is and when she was born.
Age: Unsure. Old enough to remember some very prominent events in the past, such as the burning of the Faydark and the fall of Neriak. Appearance-wise she looks to be young, although it is likely that she is older than most believe her to be.
Race: Teirdal
Gender: Female
Hair: Snow white, very wavy, with a very slight lavender streaks here and there.
Skin: Very dark indigo/purple. She is one of the darkest of the dark.
Eyes: Light lilac, large, exotic and almond-shaped.
Height: Tiny, probably no more than 48 tall in common measurements.
Weight: Around 75 stones with no armor.
Place of residence: South Qeynos, 5 Lucie Street. Cass is not a citizen of Qeynos, but she claims it as her residence.
Place of Birth: Neriak.
Known Relatives: Father Vildayan died defending NMarrs ascent during the Leatherfoot invasion. Mother Ruan died in the fall of Neriak (as far as Cass knows). One brother, Deverin, has survived, but Cass has not seen him in some time and she now believes he may be dead. The Degahrmortath family were commoners, typical middle class citizens of the city. Cass currently claims several members of her guild as 'family', and she is married to the Feir'dal Kirath. They have one adopted son, Demothi, and one natural-born son, Kailan.
Religion/Philosophy: Feels nothing but disdain for the gods, who she sees as cowardly beings who fled when times got tough. Her philosophy is in a state of flux. She is finding it harder and harder to truly hate, and easier to find the good.
Occupation: Dirge and explorer.
Group/Guild affiliation: Token Freeport member of Fellowship of the Dragon
Guild Rank: Patron.
Enemies: None specifically. Many of those she might have formerly called enemies have proven themselves either worthy of friendship, or not worthy of the effort of hating them.
Likes: Watching the stars at night, fine wines, good food, and powerful music. Hedonist at heart, but not afraid to get dirty either. Cass loves hunting by the side of her husband or sitting by the fire sharing a bottle of wine.
Favorite Foods: Hearty stews, meats, things that are filling and thus worth the time taken to eat.
Favorite Drinks: Wine of any color and taste, sometimes to excess.
Favorite Colors: Dark shades of blue, green, and purple.
Weapons of Choice: Her voice and her drum. She is also proficient with daggers.
Dislikes: Most gnomes, erudites, and halflings, bright lights, and those who deal in the marketing of slaves.
Hobbies: Crafting fine papers and binding books, learning to play various new musical instruments, and mastering the art of singing pleasant songs as well as battle music.
Physical Features: A tiny powerhouse of energy, Cassidhe often appears bigger than she is. Her speaking voice and singing voice are both strong and somewhat overpowering at times. She has a bright easy smile that seems to come more frequently when she is with her new friends. Physically, she is somewhat muscular due to her physical activity in battle, but she maintains the grace of a dancer (most of the time, as long as wine hasnt passed her lips).
Special Abilities: None, unless you consider her ability to inspire fear and pain with her music.
Positive Personality Traits: Generous with friends, passionate with those she loves, more willing to see good in people than evil.
Negative Personality Traits: Sometimes finds herself straddling a line between her past and her future. She can be uncertain, confused, and easily angered when her inconsistencies are pointed out to her. Because of new emotions that have been awakened in her, she can be very moody at times. Cass has a flight instinct that she is trying to fight, but even now, with a blanket of love and security around her, she still sometimes feels the urge to run.
Misc. Quirks: Although she speaks fluent common, at times snippets of the language she grew up with come up in her speech. Every day, almost without fail, she makes a daily pilgrimage to NMarrs Ascent to speak with the spirit of her dead father. (Thankfully she isnt delusional enough to believe he answers her.) Cassidhe also has a serious lack of respect for former members of Neriak nobility.
Played by What Famous Person: Meg Ryan dipped in purple dye. Think Sleepless in Seattle, right down to the hair.
Theme Songs: For Good (Wicked soundtrack).
UPDATED to reflect some changes.

Cassidhe is someone whose orbit brings her into the Raven frequently enough, though not directly into mine. I know she is close with Laenne, and have given Laenne permission to be as close with Cassidhe as she wishes. How close she gets with me, well, that is another matter. She has a tight circle of friends, and I have mine. Enough shared between that our paths will cross in more detail some day.
For now, from the outside, I see her as a whirling ball of chaos. Anxious, manic, twisting and weaving from one emotion to the other, I see a lot of my younger self in her, and something of a kinship. She has demons of her own to face, and before I know her any better, she must face them, and beat them down.
Nevertheless, in a sick way, her chaotic life is a pleasure to watch from the outside.

Cass? If, on my first visit to the inn, somone had asked me to point out the one person who would become the most important to me, I doubt I ever would have pointed to Cassidhe. I'd only ever met one other Tier'Dal before her. But that's become the case, as we have spent more and more time hunting together, and now I don't know where I would be without her. I trust her, absolutely, with my very life, and she has opened my eyes in ways I never thought of before.
If I am her rock, her foundation, as she likes to say, then she is my wings.

How do I start? For me, Cassidhe was the first wild ride on a griffon. She meant passionate nights and long conversations in quiet solitude. She is the back to my blade, the force that keeps me moving. Despite recent changes in our relationship, she remains a very very dear friend. She introduced me to the inn, and, by proxy to Iduvia. She has introduced me to countless others. Kirath of course, Jayth and his songs, Nuala and hers. And many more that while remaining special to me, just dont belong on this. This is a tribute to the Lady Cassidhe, not them.
She can make me laugh and cry, can make me grin and sigh. She is the reason I began to try and write once more. She made me feel love when I thought all was lost. Without this wonderful person, I dont believe I would be walking these paths I do.
To a wonderful and dear friend, thank you. And, best of luck with that guy, kirsomething.

Ah, Cassidhe. So many demons in her past, but being her friend is like watching a rare and precious rose blooming...just beware of the thorns. She is amazingly passionate, yet sometimes I almost think I am more bold than she in some things. I am glad I met her, for she has taught me much of life and love. It is amazing to watch her from afar. She has a small group devoted to her, and to hear their Songs intermingle is one of the most beautiful things I can imagine. I hope she will learn that love is not a weakness to be shied away from. She embraces so many aspects of her life with boundless passion, throwing herself into everything whole-heartedly. I wish her nothing but the utmost happiness...and a bit better luck in love in the future...

Cassidhe...such an enigmatic elf, that you scratch the surface and find that it is hard as diamonds, though you can see through the shimmering fire beneath. I have enjoyed hunting with her...and I would do my best to help her if she is in need...as she would do for me...has done for me. She has done me a great service this eve, even though I feared it would go badly. Now it is just to see where her life takes her...if she will learn to love...or admit that she has.

I like this one, she's not stuffy like most of the darker kind, like my dear Dovi. I hear she's a singer, but I dinnae know of what...but if her skin indicates anything, I'm assuming she's one of the darker breed of bards. Still, though, there seems to be a brighter light in this one than the others I've seen. I hope I get to see her more often.

Cassidhe.. I feel somewhat of a kindred spirit in this woman, and more than that I respect her. Cass has a quiet strength, a wonderful sense of humor, and more importantly, the capacity to really care about others. She is not lost in the hate-mongering that so many of our race preach--she still has the ability to love, and the desire. In a time where I feel so much on the outside for my views, it's nice to know that there is another who seems to feel similarly.
Cassidhe
The dark dirge has changed so much from when I first met her. She was bitter, hateful, angry, and yet it never quite seemed to fit her. Slowly, over the time I have known her, she has shed the cloak she wore for so many years, revealing something much different underneath. Of course, with the bards of the Raven pounding on her, I suppose it was inevitable. She has struggled to admit to emotions that most Teir`Dal refuse to acknowledge even though we were not created as single-emotion creatures.
I dont see her as much as I would like, though she is quite busy building a new life for herself. She seems to have found a good home for herself in Qeynos funny, because I seem to be having a far harder time, even though I am supposed to be a citizen, and she is not. Though, my own reasons for being here are quite different.
A lot of things have changed for me lately, and sometimes it would be nice to be able to walk the lands with some of my own kind. It hurts me to feel so cut off from them. We fought great battles together, long ago, though neither of us knew it, and she would have never seen me. Her songs bring back memories of a more simple time.

Ahh... Cass. The first time I spoke to her, she told me she had wanted to kill me... now -thats- an icebreaker.
Though now, I'd kill anyone that rose a hand to her. She has become a friend and a guildmate and has given love to a person that most deserved it, but I couldn't provide.
Probably the greatest thing Cass has given me is the courage to look beyond my limited vision and because of that I have met many new friends in Norrath.
I wish her the best of luck and offer my arm in defence, and my shoulder in friendship.
Cassidhe
I only feel its worth pointing out that our relationship has changed over time. Of all the people in Norrath, I would call her most strongly sister. I still love her, I always will, but it is definately more of a familial love, not one based on lust or romance. I admire her strength, and am happy to see her with children. Both, as they get older, will be bequeathed loud musical instruments.
I dread the things I will never see. Signatures by Zeverai and Dragonsnail.

Lady Cassidhe. You throw a marvelous party, and whatever you slipped me led me to a =very= fun night. I must say, of all the Teir' Dal I have met, she is one of the most cheery and fun to be around. She is always looking out for others and has earned the trust of many. I am no different from the rest, and seeing as how she enjoys my candy, I do hope that I bring her some joy as well.
Cassidhe
If I had been asked before the night my daughters were born, I would have called Cassidhe one of my closest friends. For all that we did not get to speak often, I trusted her. Through Dami, I counted her as a sister. After that night though, I have forgiven, but not forgotten. I hope that she and Dami can mend their relationship one day. I will not stand in the way, but I am afraid to let her too close as well.

My mother - what can I say that won't get me in trouble?
When I was growing up, my mom and I were constant companions. She would take me riding with her, harvesting, exploring. Because of her, I have seen parts of the world that most people my age might not see.
She's taught me a lot about my Thexian heritage, and she's shown me through her own actions that I'm not "destined" to hate. She's let me choose to be what I wanted to be, and even though we fight sometimes, I know she's always going to be there for me when our tempers calm down.
I'm glad I wound up with her as a mom. I know it could have been MUCH worse.
