He's quicker than most, and too curious for my liking. What right do men have, to prod and poke at things that are better left hidden? They assume so much and know so little, all the while acting as if this scares people. And should it? What is behind his mask, anyway. Flesh that is half eaten away? A pale face? Ugliness? Or maybe he just thinks it makes him all the more ominous.

I'll watch him, nevertheless. Szerath already knows something that even I had forgotten, and for all the dramatic show, possessing a shadow even Luclin would be proud of.

He should learn to be more subtle. There are so many hunters in this world that would shoot down birds which fly too close.

Much can be said about Szerath, and many more can be thought of. For what he truly stands for, is just a image at most. The very image which all hold a avatar of sorts. A defence to the very being which stands, and moves for whatever reason their accord may entwine. Yes, I have spoken to Szerath, but never in detail. I hold my intrigue and tongue for such matters, at times it is best kept in detail to the eyes and ears of privacy.

It seems a few patron's know him all the better, the grand scheme of matters soon to flow to each word they share. I am granted such if I wish to speak to him, altough I hear he has become ill of sorts. As Grand Inquisitor, perhaps I shall have a word with him. One Tier'Dal to another, of course.
"Another mission, the powers have called me away. Another time to carry the colors again. My motivation, an Oath I've sworn to defend, to win the honor of coming back home again."
"No explanation will mater after we begin, unlock the dark destroyer that's buried within. My true vocation and now my unfortunate friend, you will discover a war you're unable to win"

Szerath...others in the inn have been kind to me but apart from Duvessa helping me take off my collar, he is the only patron to actually help me. He's done something for me I didnt know possible..he's solved a problem I never thought could be fixed, two actually. I allowed his touch, and for the first time, I didnt cringe away. Such a curious man, I feel like there is much for me to learn about him. Not the least being pleasure from a single touch...

I do not know Szerath well. That being said, I am ever curious to see what his real agenda is behind his mask...

Szerath is a mixture of sounds. He has cold, cruel edges, and a sense of humor that bites like a serpent. Yet he has brought Sila out of the shell of her fear. Does he have a softer side that he chooses to hide behind that mask of his?

Why does he wear that mask, anyway?

Some part of me thinks I know him from another place, another time. I am not sure where and when, though. Before he took ill, he was a skilled bounty hunter, and he seems devoted to his job, once a contract is made. I have tried to help some with his current... illness, but it is mostly beyond my power. And with time, and knowing him.... he's become my Dark Prince. One of the few males every to get so close to me. Words cannot easily describe the feelings I have for him, not so much from a relationship, as from chemistry. It's eerie sometimes. I think of him as a kind of a rare friend, sharing a bond with me I only have with a few others, like Linan, Vhash, and Scythen.

*Her hand writing is a mere scribble with some Maj'dulian influence. Leaving faint traces of gold flecks on the paper* Mysterious, intriquing, Startling, Terrifying, Brillant, Gentle, Honest, Endearing. This..Being with so many faces is Amazin' to me. He scares the demons right out of me, yet sets me free. And we've only spoken briefly..But. He's touched my soul, if there is such a thing..An' no other has ever gotten near it before...And it's horrifies me.
There's this love that is burning
Deep in my soul
Constantly yearning to get out of control
Wanting to fly higher and higher
I can't abide standing outside the fire...

Very few men (or women) have the power to arouse my curiosity. Fewer still have the ability to bring out nervousness in me. I am usually unfazed by the machinations of mortals, because I have seen a great deal in my years, and I have little patience for it.

Despite this, Szerath has both of these qualities in abundance. He is an enigma, and one I have decided I would like to sort out. His mask is fascinating, as I believe it reveals as much as it conceals about him. He also has the distinction of never being afraid of me, which few men do. So far as I can tell from his scent and his posture, I do not even arouse discomfort in him, which is strange. Most men cringe from one who embraces the beast, because they sense an unpredictable predator, and want no part of it. Szerath, by contrast... Flirts.

Yes, I have decided I wish to know more. We will see what he thinks about that.

*sits back, pursing her lips in a rare not-smile* Szerath? I haven't seen him in a long time. The yarner in me thinks maybe whatever motive force was holding him together just...dissipated. Went home. They say energy never really dies, right? It just changes.

Still, you know, I kind of miss him. He was a good mystery.
