Place of Birth: Somewhere in Freeport, his family moved from squat to squat alot.

Relatives: He was the youngest child of sixteen. His father is deceased, his mother is unaccounted for, most of his siblings are doing their own thing. Except for Ikmachek
Enemies: He dislikes the violent and the cruel. Even then he has rarely seen someone as irredeemable and always gives people a second chance. However, he's shrewd when it comes to business.
Allies: The Maiden's Fancy, Tunare's Pages, The Mummy, Soulfire, and the Nutshell

Occupation: Bartender, exotic dancer, and healer of Quellious
Crafting: Provisioner, Nik prefers to leave brewing to himself

    Appearance:

Weapons of Choice: The Impact of the Sacrosanct.

Alignment: (Neutral) Good - No longer as selfish, Nikatell tries hard to please those around him. While he's worried that this could be taken advantage of, he feels he has a lot of ground to cover to repent for what he's done working for Rallos and the Dismal Rage.
Motivations: With the return of ikmachek, his relationship with santinea, and his growing bond with his coworkers, he just wants to find and create a safe sanctuary for them and any other friends.
Disposition: Primarily cheery, frequently bawdy, and secretly opportunity driven.
Outlook: Live and let lives. Noes reasons toos burn a whole orchards, cuz one apples isses rottens.

Religion/Philosophy: "I's have had a crisis of faiths recentlys. I's prefers the citys and realizeds that I's joined Tunare as a thank yous fors Kelethin openings they's arms rather than any honests need toos tend toos the wild places. I's have always tried toos find a peaceful way toos resolve my's problems and it clicked. I's wish toos follow Quellious."

Sexuality: Bisexual and quite open about it. However, he prefers women and has only taken on a few male lovers.

Positive Personality Traits: Caring, charming, and loyal
Negative Personality Traits: Hedonistic, Naive, and Caring
Misc. Quirks: Has an extreme soft spot for 'people-in-need' ('tongas especially), and has often gone against his beliefs and personality to help one who appeals to this side of him. This will get him in trouble I'm sure.

    Theme Songs:
I'll Face Myself - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JIyEw3FRUlQ (Nik made the choice to leave his family and then freeport behind to pursue something great. It's never been easy risking everything and this is that song)

Blue Mary's Blues - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khbd5Pcj9g4 (Picture Nik dancing to this.....I love it)

Full Metal Alchemist: Brothers - This song and the associated image really fits where Nikatell and Ikmachek stand. They still have unresolved issues related to their past, they still blame and draw from each other. But at the end of the day, Ikky will live happily as long as Nikatell draws breath.

    History:
Nik was the sixteenth child in a litter of ratonga. Their parents made enough to keep everyone from starving by working as fetchers and delivery for various businesses around Freeport. Things were largely well until one day his mother came home stabbed, but not fatally. As it turned out, their boss had been drinking and wanted to test out his new knife and chose the "funniest target". Pappys, Nik's father left to avenge the assault, and was caught at the scene of a murder, only he didn't do it. Sure, he intended to, but someone got to them first and he was taking the blame. His execution forced the family into the sewers for many years.

Later, while scavenging a bandit attack, Nik came across an initiates badge of the Dismal Rage, and an idea formed. He would pretend to be such an initiate so he could have free meals and maybe swipe a few things to bring back home. Against his families advice, he went through with the plan and was for many years, written off as dead. As it turns out, the instructor was amused, not believing for an instance that Nik was an initiate, and so he gave him a test. He stabbed a captured ratonga, his eldest brother as it turned out, and demanded that he mend his wounds. Nik thought he was doomed but, lo and behold! His magic worked! He had faith...in something and it came out in a spell.

The instructor sent the brother home, who told his family what happened. Though they later decided to not take any of his money, (because while he was living in freeport they swiped and sold some of his stuff anyway) they accepted the benefits his position brought with it. However, Nik fled again to go to Neriak, presumably to stay close to the bar he worked at. Though eldest brother suspects he finally figured out that they were robbing him and he wanted to get away from that.

He's made a few friends and enemies along the way and was recently ordained a full Exorcist with the Dismal Rage, as well as chief alcohol smuggler for the Fancy, and to his surprise he's finally learning to trust again, and was even chosen to be the Mialissa's Mouse of Honor for her upcoming wedding. On Norrath, there are only four people that he would, without a second thought, risk his life for; Ekinio, Dayem, Mialissa, and Ninevah.

Recently however, his new home in Kelethin has grown lonely and quiet. He's traveling through the world now, partly in search of someone, mostly to be sure that he chose this path for himself. So far he's convinced...until he ran into an old friend.

Ratty-tongas. They are vermin. They are much like rats, save for the ability to stand upright, have opposable thumbs, and can communicate. Though they have the sense to put their droppings out of sight (unlike normal rats who have no shame), they still smell funny.

Nikatell isn't a typical Ratty-tonga. I will let him serve me a drink--I've seen him wash his hands. I choose to communicate with him because thus far he seems to show considerable intelligence.

He also dresses well.

And he took time to greet me when we ran into each other in Qeynos. Not only that, but there was conversation which was...pleasant.

I consider Nikatell to be a favorable member of the Ratty-tongas and will "make nice" with him.

**mumbles and coughs** okay so he's quite charming, but I didn't say that.

Nikatell seems to be the Maiden's new caller. I have it in mind to get to know him some day, and spend some time coming to know this Ratonga. I think I could have good business relations with the Fancy, and he seems to be the right man to go to.

I've enjoyed getting to meet Nikatell through In a Nutshell, and my own singing. He's a great writer, his story has me hooked and waiting not so patiently for the next volumn. I find it hard not to respect a Ratonga that pulls himself out of the gutter and makes something of himself. I do consider him a friend, and look forward to getting to know him better.

No one has quite left an impression on me like Nika. From the first moment he spoke to me, and until now he has been nothing but kind and generous in every way. It all begun when he heard one of my songs, and picking up on the tinge of sorrow lurking at the the end of every couplet, he spoke to me afterwards. He offered nothing but kind words and a promised fulfilled in cheering me up that very evening. That eve, was truly a difficult one for me. I have not the slightest idea where I would have ended up that night, if had not been for the altruistic actions of a certain Ratonga. It is for him, and -only- him that I would journey to Neriak to perform...

I pray that Tunare blesses his path and smiles upon his ventures. He deserves nothing but the best life has to offer, for I can think of no one more deserving than he.

"Nik-a-tell? Nikatell! I remember Nikatell!" Sinice nods at you, a flash of a sparkle in her eyes. "He's nice, but I don't think he likes me... Well, not me but things like me...

"What? Nothing. I didn't say anything."

She grinds her teeth, pushing uneaten food around on her plate with her fork. "I'm just worried, though, that soon he won't like me as much as he used to... What if he starts hunting me..? I mean, he said he would ask me about Anashti, but he hasn't. I bet he's looking her up on his own! She's really misunderstood, you know. I owe her a lot.

"What? Nothing. Stop looking at me like that! I'm just saying he can hurt lots of undead with his prayers. I saw him do it once to some ghosts. He's a scary ratty, that's for sure!"

Nikatell? *the Kerra nods* He's good people, especially for a Ratonga. Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against them, just that a lot of the ones I meet are kinda skittish around me. *he smiles a wide, toothy grin* Not that I could imagine why that would be though. Now... where was I, right, Nikatell. Great guy, quick on the refills the last time I was at the Fancy. I heard tell that he'd started running the place.

I've got to make my way back there again and soon.

-The Kerra gives out a deep sigh.- Nikatell? Yes, I know him.. I first met him in the Maiden's fancy, He's a great friend, Always caring to those around him. Hell, I've surprised he still talks to me after the stunts I've pulled in the Fancy or when I have been around him, Although.. I guess I could say he's at where he is today because of me, I was the one that gave him a set of armor and pushed him out of the fancy into the world. But, I have not seen him that much lately, I wish him luck with his adventures.

A fearful little thing. It works the counter at the Neriak bar.

I do not think it enjoys my presence.

He is a good bartender and seems civilized, but I can't say there is much else that can be approved of here. I heard him sing one night. Ratonga singing is bad enough in itself, but the lyrical content of this one was particularly unsettling to my stomach.

If I had to sum Nik up it would be "Small, furry and simply adorable.".He's been chatty and incredibly polite everytime I have interacted with him.I woud also mention that having heard him sing and seen him dance there is clearly another side to this man that explains why he seems to have so many friends.

He makes -great- tea as well!

He's positively adorable! I need to resist the urge to pinch his furry little cheeks. *Aloucia takes a breath to compose herself.*

Right, then. I've seen him in passing several times. Each time, he seems to hold himself with such class that I wouldn't expect from a Ratonga. He's well-mannered and quite the little gentleman. He even taught me, and a few others, how to dance one night! I'm happy to have met him, this pleasant little Ratonga.

Now there is a man (mouse?) who is very comfortable with his sexuality. I wish I were. Comfortable with his sexuality I mean, haha.

Aside from the massive amounts of caustic substances necessary to cleanse my eyes and brain after seeing him dance at the Fancy, there's something I find quite charming about this little fellow. Perhaps it's his confidence, or just that rare willingness to talk with anyone and everyone, something I admire as a sign of a savvy businessman. Just, please, for the love of the Father, someone warn me next time he's going to start gyrating.

He seems to possess all that I find appealing about his kind. As a colleague in the entertainment business, I have no doubts that he is as shrewd and ruthless as I am, but he is far more personable than I ever will be.

The Fancy is not my sort of venue, but I have promised to do a guest bartender shift one evening to pay back a generous favor. It should be interesting.

Nikatell....Unfortunately don't know this ratonga very well, however many of my friends do know of him, and speak very highly of him in their praises. That he is very caring, and is very accommodating, he is charming and so on. I have run into him on a few occasions, and visited the Maiden's Fancy and spoken with him while he worked. So far, what I can tell, is that my friends have spoken true words about him, although either I failed to hear them speak, about how much energy he has and his ability to get the room he is in caught up in the energy, or they neglected to mention it. Overall, I am happy to know this ratonga, and look forward to the possibility of us becoming friends rather than acquaintances.

A ratonga that owns a burlesque house.. the thought itself makes me laugh.. I believe during the Shadow's little stint of guarding the place.. I saw a bit too much of the Ratonga that I would have ever wanted to see...

<chuckles at the mention of Nikatell's name> "Oh aye? That one eh? Well lemme tell ye, he has quite the racket goin'. Not only is he a bartender, but he is a dancer, singer and all around ladies' mouse! He manages to get all the lasses to think he is innocent and adorable to get their guard down an' talk to him like he was a plushie on their childhood bed." <takes a sip of rum and grins> "But he is a good sort, I think he means nae harm and takes pleasure in seein' others happy is all."

While one cannot claim to know him entirely, one has spent enough time in his presence to speak only good of him. Charming, personable, and accomodating as a gentleman should be, with enough talent for an entire show of his own contained within an irresistably furry little Ratonga body...to say nothing of those adorable whiskers or wiggling nose. One cannot help but scratch behind his ear at every opportunity!

*cannot help but to smile when she thinks about Nik*

I have never really gotten to know a ratonga ... I tend to avoid them as a rule. Nikatell is very different to the point where I find myself sometimes looking for excuses to start a conversation with him. It was Nik who was there for me in my most urgent time of need ... those pointed, furry ears of his are good for a lot more than just wiggling! He is one I would trust with my life (the only one now that I think about it).

Nikatell is the only male ever who can make me blush ... and that's saying a lot! His dancing is not for the faint of heart.

I was unawares ofs the sorts of establishments I was attendings. Ohs, it was furnisheds beautifullies ands the patrons weres all nices, howevers," she fidgets nervously, "the shows... It was somethings a marrieds womans shoulds not have seens bys herselfs. Luckilies, Nikatell caughts ons to this and provideds me withs a books to reads insteads."

She pauses, wiggles her whiskers, and formulates a final opinon.
"Nikatell seems to be a nices Ratongas... but I am worrieds he is a Qeynosians sympathizers..."

Amixa turns and grins at the mention of Nikatell's name. "What a completely charming ratonga." Her eyes twinkle as she chuckles and leans against the stage one foot crossed over the other. "It's a pleasure to have him around no matter where he is and I adore watching him dance. The ladies love him and a lot of the men too. I took one dance lesson so far and look forward to more. I don't know him as well as I'd like but I'm proud to call him friend and would not hesitate to come to his aid should he need it."
