Sillia
Full Name: Cesillia Gethsamene Zenobia Inali Nicknames: Silly Sillia (inadvisable, the only person who used that didn’t live long enough to use it again), Brat, Pain in the ass, etc. Biographical:Level: Still rising Class: Shadow Knight RP Power: Nothing fancy, just your normal SK stuff. She’s had quite a bit of skill at forcing decay since a very early age.
Race: Human Gender: Female Date of Birth: A pretty, clear day in Blossoming. Age: 20 Hair: Wavy, Strawberry Blonde Skin: Pale Eyes: Greenish blue Height: 5’3” Weight: Average
Place of Residence: Beggar's Court Place of Birth: North Freeport
Relatives: Both her parents are still living in the house she grew up in. She doesn't speak to them. Marcellus and Cesillia Inali. Parents. Deceased. Enemies: Spoilsports. And bugs. Others welcome to apply. Allies: While she’s not inclined to rely on others much, there are a few who are lucky (or unlucky) enough to be considered real allies. The Discipleship in general, Teozar and Urdis in particular.
Occupation: Whatever presents itself to give her a few dollars for food and pretty clothes. Crafting: Experimental provisioner.
Appearance: A pretty normal looking girl. She’s not beautiful, but pretty enough if you catch her in a moment when she's not sneering at something. She spends an exorbitant amount of time thinking about how she looks. Her hair is always neatly done, nails painted, clothes ironed. Her hands, however, are calloused from all the swordplay.
Fashion of Choice: All of it. She loves pretty dresses and shoes and considers them the main reason she goes to all that trouble to make money all the time. Armor of Choice: It depends on what she's doing. Plate mail, generally, though preferably something nicely form-fitted. If it's a more low-key job a pretty dress, a smile, and a well-concealed blade can never be outdone. Weapons of Choice: Swords. Big ones.
Special Abilities: Sarcasm? Does that count?
Personality:Alignment: Not so good. Motivations: Power, influence, fun. Disposition: She’s a little crazy. And moody. She can go from bubbly and giggling to dark and brooding in about a second and a half. Outlook: Generally optimistic. She knows how to get her way and doesn’t foresee anything too inconvenient getting between her and it. And what matters aside from that?
Religion/Philosophy: She believes that she was hand-chosen by Innoruuk himself to act as his non-Teir'dal ambassador on Norrath. As such, she is both extremely devout and convinced that she is incapable of doing anything wrong, as every action is guided by the Father's hand. Honesty is her main tenant. In her view, however, hate and honesty are synonymous. Everyone else is just fooling themselves.
Sexuality: Straight.
Positive Personality Traits: Um... If you’re after the same thing that she is, she’s happy to help. And she can be funny. Very loyal to the few people whom she feels deserve it. Negative Personality Traits: Extremely selfish, vain, flighty, and rash, with a dash of the sociopathic.
Interests:Guild: The Discipleship Guild Rank: Third Regent, Ambassador to the non-Teir'dal races
Interests:Likes: Conversation, especially with people who can keep up with her sense of humor. Excitement. Power, or at the very least, being near it. Dislikes: Tedium. Bugs. Disrespect. The easily offended.
Favorite Foods: Grilled cheese, brownies. Favorite Drinks: Strawberry milk, cream and sugar with coffee. Whiskey. Favorite Colors: Purple, sky blue Played by What Famous Person: Lauren Ambrose

Theme Songs: Gothic Archies Smile
Smile: no one cares how you feel Be vicious, vain, and vile Everything's yours to steal if you just smile Have you no dignity? Have you no sense of style? You'll never be pretty until you smile
Smile: no one cares how you feel There's a world to be got You can make this world kneel If you'll just smile
Always the best disguise A license to defile Everyone you despise will die So smile

Hrrm... *he shakes his head and looks unsure whether to grin or scowl. The result is an odd combination of the two* She is a very strange girl... and considering that this is being measured against other patrons of the Raven Mythic, that's saying something. First time I saw her she was hauling around this massive sword, haven't seen her with it since then though. I wonder if she realized how impractical it was or just thought better than bringing it to lunch.
I think I could get along with her better if she'd stop referring to me as "Admiral".

This one has recently contacted me with regards to joining the Order. Time will tell how good a disciple she is, but I think she's one that I am going to like. She's spirited that much is clear. The only thing that I am concerned with is how well will she live the Commandment of Unity should one her brothers or sisters be in the way of something she desires.

The first time we spoke she seemed fine to me, courteous and, well...plain. The next time we spoke, a simple honest inquiry into her faith - after she had just loudly lamented her boredom and was clearly seeking company - was met with a childish defensive reaction and me being admonished for trying to make idle conversation. Things spiraled from there.
She does look very young. Perhaps she has simply not learned her manners yet?

A young Shadow Knight of Innoruuk who doesn't look, talk, or act like a Shadow Knight of Innoruuk. Naturally, I don't take what she does in a bar for who she is, though I get the feeling that's exactly what she does with me. I've recently taken her training, and I think that may go a way towards lessening some of the assumptions she has about me, though not all of them. We all have secret hearts that are only revealed under certain conditions, and to certain people.
She can be a little rude; mistaking brusque and biting speech for speaking truth to power. One doesn't have to be mean about it to speak true, yet she often is. And that's the crack in her mask, where you get a little bit of a look at the cruelty under that plaine-Jane image she maintains. I wonder if she can keep her normal banter, her sunny outlook, her.. folksiness under the awesome torrent of hate that being a Knight of Innoruuk entails.

Hmph. Someone who can match my sarcastic wit. Could be intriguing. Fun, even. Or, I might wind up killing her. Really never know with people like that.

Sillia! Sillia is...not so much with the silly. Name sounds like "silly" though, right? I mean, is it just me, or don't you just want to say "sIlLy SiLlY siLly!" when you hear it? I called her "Red" after THAT whole thing. *shrugs* I also tried to cheer her up in my own way, 'cause she seemed a little moody. Maybe she was in her moons that night, if you know what I mean. Do you? Know what I mean? Good! I don't...can you explain it to me?

The Sillia is almost pleasant to be around. It's heaviness is lessened in her company. She is not loud, or too energetic. It appreciates the lack of these qualities. She shared rum with it, and enjoys the music. Perhaps it....we are friends?

Rare and delightful it is to find one of the lesser races who sees eye to eye with me on theological matters. Best of all, she is always willing to engage in friendly banter and conversation, unlike so many I run into as of late. Most females seem defensive and relate everything to a game of coupling; most males are arrogant and boastful, and have a zero-sum mentality that means any attention, courtesy, or respect I receive is a threat to their own status. Not so with this human, who seems content to "pal around with" anyone who speaks civilly to her. I wish others would follow her example; life is too short to spend it in a constant struggle for dominance.
Her coloring is disturbing and unnatural, and her manner rather whimsical, but I feel sure that a woman such as Lady Urdis would not be seen in her company if there were not something to her.

Human, so didn't immediately hit my "filthy elf" list. But then she spent her whole time at the table discussing pulling wings off Fae and Arasai. Now, if she'd just limited herself to Fae, sure. I can go with that. Nothing's more fun than taunting a Fae without wings, from about six feet off the ground, let me tell you. I'm not sure how I feel about the other. I wanted to hate the idea, but I think I don't. Bizarre.
She's on my list. I'm not sure which ones, though. Definitely the "keep an eye on her" list, and the "humans don't always suck but this one might," and the "this could be fun" one too. It's the last one that provides the most potential for havoc, so I do believe I'll be finding this Sillia thing again.
Yes. I think it's time to spend some time with my "this could be fun" list.

Sillia. Yeeeeah. I mean, sure - when I first saw her I thought 'oh yeah. I can go for that.' But then she had to go and open her mouth and screw it up for me. Don't get me wrong - I don't give a ratonga's fuzzy ass what someone does for money. But that talk about pullin' wings off Fae and Arasai? Sounds like she does that for fun. There's two kinds of 'crazy bitch': the kind that makes for a memorable night in the hay, and the kind that would make for a memorable night in the hay, 'cept you don't wake up in the morning 'cause she's cut you into nine pieces after you fell asleep. Sillia might be the second kind.

She's not at all dull-witted and oafish as many of her human counterparts tend to be. To the contrary, I actually enjoyed our conversation. She has clealy learned much from the Teir'Dal with whom she wisely surrounds herself.

I really love humans. For some reason, they always know how to party - especially the redheads! I'm so taking her shopping with me before we party next. She like, matches Haydrian and Red. It's awesome. Oh! I wonder if she wants a job...

Interesting young lady. I spoke with her briefly at the Soulfire. I like the way she handles herself. She seems to be about the same age as my Neredeh. I wonder how many scars Neredeh would come home with if she met this girl. It would toughen her up for sure. I should arrange a meet, perhaps. It would be entertaining to watch.

It is always sweet when a human tries so very hard to be like a Teir'Dal. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, after all.
She will learn to see past her own projected failings eventually. Or she will irritate the wrong person and die. Either way, it will be interesting to watch.

"Miss Sillia is really nice and pretty but I don't know if she liked the dress she was wearing. Kept saying something about holes and stuff. I thought it looked good on her but Dad said I can't wear dresses like that for a long long time." The kit shrugs and slurps at her fizzlepop. "That's okay. I don't like dresses anyway." The young kerra giggles suddenly. "She was gonna let me try some whiskey but Dad said no. So I got fizzlepops for the night. I gotta teach her how to make the wild child drink so she can tell me if it's goood!"

I don't know many humans at all no less enjoy spending time with one, but Sillia I just like. She is one who will hold a knife to your throat with a sarcastic smile on her face as she discusses the weather. I have seen many try with all their might to insult her, but no one can ever seem to get under her skin. Speaking of skin, she needs to feel a bit more comfortable showing hers in public. Sillia is a lovely woman.

I misjudged this one. Something I seem to be doing a lot of lately. Her loyalties are not where I had thought (if she even has any to anyone besides herself and her whims) and therefore, she no longer has mine. Not that I intend to make a public announcement of this; she is still a Disciple in name at least, so I must continue to be courteous. But it's good that I glimpsed her true nature before trusting her with anything important. If I should ever rise to a position of power, perhaps then I can make my opinions known. For now I must continue to endure her place of honor in the Discipleship as I do all injustices.

I began to run into Sillia at local taverns and events here and there and have gotten to know her well enough to look forward to the next time I see her. She has an uncanny ability to say it like it is, no matter what "it" is. She has an odd sense of humor that offends some, but always makes me laugh. I do feel sorry for the ones that manage to truly offend Sillia, for she has no compunction around being cruel. SIllia has an ability to bring out the truth and true selves in the people around her for everyone to see ...a skill I admire and hope to learn from her someday.

I can describe this young woman in a single word. Sarcastic. I find her habit of ripping into her co-workers and more rarely patrons entertaining. Possibly because she hasn't used that sharp tongue on me yet. Possibly because she's witty and I appreciate that.

Perhaps it might strike you or someone else as odd, but I find that Sillia Inali is perhaps becoming one of my more favored people. Not only is she a Sister in Faith, but she is strong, beautiful and her sarcasm is delightful. She is very aware that she is a woman, but yet she is also a formidable warrior. I admire her, and find her personality refreshing. Though I have always felt I get on better with Humans more than my own kind, she is a rarity and I treasure her for it.
Even though I believe she has a temper, that is something we also seem to share in common. I believe, and hope that we shall become, and remain friends for years to come.

Innoruuk is fond of testing His faithful, and this girl represents the cruelest of His tests for me. By turns I have been strongly tempted by her presence to violate virtually every one of His commandments: that is to say, I often cannot decide whether to throw her down a well or just... throw her down.
But despite everything, she is my friend, and in my way, I have come to love her. Jystana says that indifference, not love, is the enemy of Hate, and I can honestly say that indifference is the one thing I have never felt about her.
And yes, perhaps you might catch me staring from across a room at the way her hair looks like God's fire in a certain light, and yes, you might catch me digging my nails into my palms when her banter with another man takes a decidedly flirtatious turn. You might be tempted to assume that there is Something Going On Between Us. But I am a man of Faith, and the holy scriptures on the subject are perfectly clear. Unlike many Teir'Dal I can name, I do not selectively choose from the scriptures that which pleases me.
So if, against all common sense and self-preservation, you wish to try and get under this one's skirt, you'll not find my fingerprints there. However you may also wake up dead, and I'm not certain which of the two of us it will be that has killed you.

I like her. I really do.
She's got gall, and I respect her. Her Faith in the Father is stronger than any other pale I have met, and I don't believe that will ever change. Sillia's got a very strong will... she'll do anything that she believes is the right thing; anything to further her goals - the Father's goals. I trust her implicitly, both in battle and personally. She's got a good head on her - smart, cold, calculating, Purposeful.
In other matters, what her and Teozar have between them is... well, it's interesting, if not borderline heretical. I wish things could be different for her - that she was born as one of us, as one of the Father's children in blood and flesh. But, obviously, the Father had something else in mind for her... perhaps these challenges were meant for her and Teozar to face. Their love for each other is painted on their faces clear as day, and it's become clear to many of us that Sillia wants something from Teozar that he cannot give. It must be painful... I can't even imagine. I know the Father will provide for them, though, yet I can only hope that they both have enough sense to stop themselves when things get too... physical.
Anyway, yes. I think I've gotten too far off the main point here. I consider Sillia a friend, and I would like to think that she could say the same for me. I think she knows that if she were to ever have need of me, I would be by her side at a moment's notice.

A note made in the margin of the girl's log book, Sillia's name is underlined -twice-
A completely and utterly intolerable wench! Just who does she think she is, coming around and acting superior to everyone? She must have had some terrible accident once upon a time and had her tongue replaced with a dagger's blade. I can't imagine how someone with such a disagreeable nature can claim to be well liked. Though that is a lie, I have my suspicions of course. And given the way that strange Iksar male leapt so readily to her defense, the only thing more at question than this girl's sense of fashion are her morals and personal hygeine.
I hold little hope that we will not encounter another again. But I do look forward to teaching this one a lesson in manners and humility one day.

Had a few drinks with this smirky little red-headed number at Intrigue. Seemed all right without her entourage of men around. Quick wit, cute, and looKed good in a dress. What's not to like? Well, besides the entourage of snarling men. I'm sure we'll cross paths again.
