Editing a few things and adjusting character development, still

Full Name: Moltove "the Cocktail" Mon`Tova (His real last name is known by only two other souls in Norrath)
Nicknames: Molt, Molty, "Shadowstalker" (his former Scout training name, related to his shroud)

Biographical:

    Level: 90
    Class: Assassin
    RP Power: Potentially dangerous.

    Race: Feir'Dal
    Gender: Male
Date of Birth: He does not really care to recall, nor celebrates his birth date. It's estimated he is between 130 and 200 years old. However, this would be going by the NEW age span, and Molt did NOT grow up in the cramped conditions of Qeynos, so when calculating his max age and finding how many elf years per human year, this may be drastically off. It's for this reason why he doesn't count his own birth date.
Age: He honestly forgot, though his life span is older than most Feir'Dal, not born or living in the cramped conditions of Qeynos when young. He could look anywhere between 25 and 35 in human years. Not to mention, really...what elf isn't bad at telling time?
Hair: A very dark brown with red streaks. Often held back in a knot with a special ring.
Skin: Darker than his fellow Feir'Dal whom of which have been born in the city. Though his skin seems to be loosing some pigment since he ended up living in the city, regardless of its original pigment.
    Eyes: Emerald green
    Height: 5' 11"
    Weight: 165

    Place of Residence: Freeport
Place of Birth: Old Kelethin (Before the Great Migration and before those horrid Fae literally took over the city).

Relatives: Dyami, his daughter, and another child on the way. Both mothered by his wife, Solae.
Enemies: Rumil (deceased, Molt will claim he killed him but this is false), and an odd rivalry with Volcanus.
    Allies: City of Freeport

Occupation: Assassin, Toxicologist, and Fine Goods Fence. Member of the Freeport Emissaries, whom "require" him to confiscate certain artifacts of interest, check guild halls and allow housing permits. Though, since the disappearance of the Overlord, has taken a lot more 'responsibility'.
Crafting: Poisons and Alcohol-- what could go wrong?
Villance wrote:He does make -very- good rum too. *grins at the thought*

Appearance: A very toned, Feir'Dal body. He's taller than most, and darker as well, due to not being born during any of the migration periods or being stuffed within the confines of a populated city. He tries to keep himself well-kept, though his frequent romps in the Faydark doesn't let him do so. His hair is always pulled back into a knot, with a ring, which stays neat; though as the stress of the day wears on, it will start to come undone. His face is smooth, set in the charismatic fashion of a curious, sly Feir'Dal, though this can be quite lupine in nature if angered or unstable otherwise.
Alyvrae wrote:Moltove, you are one sexy bastard! *says this out of nowhere*

Composure is generally relaxed, but in front of authority he will always try to retain a rigid, compliant posture unless caught off guard or has no immediate respect for the authoritative figure. Across one side of his face, covering an eye is his shroud. It continues down the side of his face and neck to his shoulders, then runs down to the top of his hands. The shroud reaches from his shoulders to hug his chest then flows down to the top of his abdomen. It's a symbolic shroud, that he never seems to speak about (but never asked). There seems to be only minor scars along his body, but resting across his neck is a long scar, a reminder to never play with death so lightly. This may have changed certain aspects of his life. Finally there is a branded scar over his heart; that of a circle with the claw of a dragon holding a rose.
Masq wrote: Yus ever see da way heems look at yus? LIke heems t'inking dat heems could kill yus ins five ways right dere, right? And maybes only using heems big toe.

His adornments include the ring in his hair, three connected bangles of Bristlebane on his right wrist. A few belts adorn his waist with various pouches. He can be seen with a golden wedding band, or a golden coin that he plays with absently.

Fashion of Choice: Sleek and formal, mostly form-fitting.
Armor of Choice: He has the ability to call upon the shadows to equip himself with a sturdy set of dark, runed armor (T2 mark armor). His signature armor seems to be his Old Kelethin Scouts of Tunare armor, though instead of being green and white it has dulled to light and dark browns.
Weapons of Choice: Twin blades and an ancient sword artifact. He carries numerous weapons on his person, including poison, though they all remain hidden. Right now he has a set of small, thin scimitars with sharp points. The ancient Soulleach rests in the shadows, as though its home makes for the perfect, hidden sheath. Calling on the Arts of Shadows, he can withdraw the blade if disarmed, which, of course, seems to be easy.

Special Abilities: Skilled in the Arts of Shadow, making the shadow bend to his will as though it were an element of magic (though he doesn't consider it as such). Other than this, his speed is fast, and his hits are hard. He carries one sword, hidden in the shadows, and will call upon it if disarmed. The ancient sword, Soulleach, is particularly effective against mortals, though can be used against him if disarmed from it. If needed he will call for his armor from the shadows. Every day he works on this craft, though seems to only be able to summon only items to aid him: Weapons, armor...he has not been able to summon food nor simplistic items, and has concluded there is no need. He has a short, line of sight teleport (Shadow Step). Most everything else is an interpretation of SOE's Assassin skills.

His actual fighting skills could be impressive, but lead a lot to be desired, often over shooting his Shadow Step, or tripping over himself.
Personality:

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral. He has a vigilante-like attitude, but seeks to defend only his Allies, his love, and will defend the citizens of Freeport unless guilty and deserving of punishment.
Motivations: Personal betterment, allies, the love of his life, treasures, money...sometimes a bit of Chaos for some fun.
Disposition: Loyal, and Determined. Happy. Quirky.
    Outlook: Optimistic, controlled, warm.

Religion/Philosophy: Bristlebane's Paradox. He doesn't think much into religion and rather to just enjoy himself. Though, he does have a shrine of Zek, for days feeling absolutely greedy for power, perhaps showing his neglect to want to discuss such.

    Sexuality: Heterosexual.

Positive Personality Traits: Loyal to those he swears to, always set to complete what he's told to complete or what he would like completed. Easy to get along with unless if you intentionally pick a fight or spill smelly goop on his leg. Otherwise easy to befriend.
Shnibbles wrote:"Shnibbles thinks this mans is goods mans, yisyisyisyisyis."

Negative Personality Traits: You may not know who he swears his loyalty to, sometimes not able to complete what he wants and can be irritated by it. It's often people tactically pick fights with him, because...well, he can be VERY irritable, though this seems to have died down.
Cheslan wrote:"Disconcerting, but it could be potentially amusing to see how to provoke that...Also seems to have a short temper."

Misc. Quirks: Has a suppressed split personality. With help, this has been covered and now it bothers Cheslan and Rhoslynn more than Moltove anymore. Without this to bother him, he has settled far away from his previous skittish self. This -does- affect his emotions still.
    Savani wrote:You're a lunatic, Moltove

Avarice wrote:You must have been found more worthy than the other recruits standing in our doorway for a reason. I'll note to expect great things in the completion of your tasks.

Theme Songs: Too many, so I'll settle for: (Sorry to say that the actual video sucks, but the song is good)

History: Born before the great migration, but during the time the Fay were already well established in Old Kelethin, he trained within the halls of the Scouts of Tunare. His father was a large influence in his life, always telling tales of the times before the War of the Fay, exploring and treasures he sought after. The rather panicked migration to rebuild Qeynos came, and due to his father's ties with the Circle of the Unseen Hand, was obligated to help his brethren.

In the process, in a rather tough part of the ocean that had not settled after the Rending, he was separated from his parents, awaking at the Isle of Refuge where he began to rehabilitate himself and eventually meet with the Tunarian Alliance and the Green Hoods. It wasn't long before he took up a political activist attitude within Qeynos, getting himself kicked out.

With his old Scouts of Tunare apparel (well worn now to brown rather than green and white) and his tattered cloak, and his father's Guise of the Deceiver, he found himself in Neriak, training with the Ebon Masks.

Kelethin and Qeynos allowed him to tone his accuracy and fleet-footed abilities on uneven ground and trees, but the Ebon Masks were able to teach him straight, brutal combat and the deadliest precision. After Graduating their classes, he left for Freeport to pursue a career in a 'broker'-like trade.

Freeport had held many experiences. He had been a body guard for a clan of vampires, while setting his business. They had fallen and it wasn't long before he became a mercenary. Disliking his work, he left to pursue deeper, more rigorous adventures, eventually meeting his ex-fiance. They spent a couple of years together, promising the sacred bond of marriage, before she up and left without warning. Despite his expert tracking skills, he was never able to find her. He estimates this being the starting point of the fracture within his mind. This is recorded in a self-research project he is compiling.

With love out of the way, he had begun his business in Freeport, which boomed -fast-. He's become a mercenary again, though strives to show off much more than just his blades. Alongside of his business he has started to put together the Freeport Orphanarium and Children's Hospital, though, it is still a project not complete.

Finding love once more, he had found Villance to be his new fiance. This was deterred, after finding out how bossy she tended to be, even in the most intimate ways. Not only this, but his former lover, Solae, had finally been found, and could not have Moltove any more confused than a Halfling eating a poisoned JumJum. It took only a few days to find out that she was still the same person as she always has been, and Moltove has since left Villance to join Solae once more. Moltove's biggest problem was never feeling that strong passion with Villance, and took a bit of soul searching to really remember who he -really- was.

Now, he is happily married to his beloved, after performing a small ceremony in front of the New Halas Shrine of Erollisi. Still a Business man, still a mercenary. He may have had to leave Intrigue, but it only means that he has more time for himself and his family as he decides now what is more important.

~ From within Moltove's mind rests a rather disgruntled Thexian, Linuxis. Often times he would speak out in a Link, but inside Moltove's head he's much more vocal if not suppressed through a series of meditations. This is what his thoughts are as he pesters Moltove. ~

You're too weak. Just look at yourself-- not only are you a pathetic race, that can't get any stronger, but you let them all boss you around. All you had to do is kill them in their sleep and you'd be right on top! No-- you'd own the Legacy, even! Sure the various inhabitants may not like it, but they'll deal.

You're such a goody-goody, not even worth the City of Freeport's time. I can't believe people see through that so-called "rough exterior" and don't see a sniveling Feir'Dal tree hugger. Well, of course the women you see have-- no wonder they left you. They see what kind of fruitcake you really are.

By the gods if I ever gain control of you again, I'm going to show you what it means to be powerful. Not to mention all the rumors I'll spread, the friends of yours I'll hurt-- oh wait! You barely have friends! Ha ha ha ha!

You've got a ways to go, kid...and I don't think you're getting rid of me.

"Interesting. Hard to follow sometimes. I've noticed that he seems to lose track of a conversation you're having with him, or to abruptly change his mind mid-stream. Disconcerting, but it could be potentially amusing to see how to provoke that. He seems fairly competent so far. Also seems to have a short temper."

He is so so quirky the majority of the time, I think that is what I enjoy most about him... It is a nice break from all the serious and dramatic talk I can be constantly surrounded by. He is a -very- capable soldier for the Bloodguard and I appreciate his enthusiasm for our cause. Most importantly I am sure he has earned my trust within the Bloodthorn and in my personal life as well to the point where I am comfortable enough to drop my weapons, have a sparring match turn into a full brawl, and enjoy a glass... or bottle of rum afterwards. That is something I cannot say many have earned in my life.

He does make -very- good rum too. *grins at the thought*

I'm sure most will tell you that Moltove is a strange one. Quarky and a little bit.. off. Where I come from we simply call someone like him "fun". And that's exactly what he is to me. Hes not offended by my teasing and in fact will take jabs back at times. He does however take his work very seriously when he comes down to it, which I admire. In some ways I feel he is a lot like me. That separation between work and a personal life is rarely ever seen.

I hope that in the future I can trust him on a personal level, but for now its far to much fun watching him get in to trouble to keep what he tells me a secret.

Moltove "the Cocktail". The name alone sets my teeth on edge. While not as much as an active member as I used to be, I would have been inclined in my active days of Bloodthorn to want to have him killed or mind bent for the name alone. It just seems too flippant for Bloodthorn. For Vagabond Knights, sure...

I don't know him at all, though reports about him indicate that he is both skilled, and completely off his rocker. Never a combination I want to be around.

Moltove's name has reached me with less effort than I thought it would, considering the circumstances of our meeting. He bested me in my own home, though it took poison and the advantage of surprise for him to do it--but then, he is an assassin: it would be foolish to expect a fight with him to be straightforward. He has his talents--his poisons are quite effective to be sure, but in hand-to-hand I believe he can be beaten, and he is not so discreet as would be proper for one of his profession. He left a vial behind. Though no harm came to me as a result of my kidnapping at his hands, I do not think that he was aware that he was given the job for such a...benign...reason. Certainly, the reports I have heard of what exactly he would have liked to do were abominable. It is not my way to seek revenge, but if ever our paths cross again, which I think likely, he will not have the luxury of the same advantages. Our encounter was a learning experience for me to say the least, and I am fairly confident that if he ever attempts such a thing again, the outcome will be very different.

"I am quite surprised this individual has passed his tasks to make one of the branded. I suppose this shall be a good surprise? Yes. It will be. His service has been loyal and his methods are efficient. Though his recent trouble of becoming possessed may result in a soon to be execution. As long as I do not need to fill out the paperwork.

Could make a useful hall guard after, though."

Moltove…*bristles with irritation and the man asking her about him can see the lovely pair of black feathered wings starting to sprout from her back, signaling IMMENSE irritation and hatred*

I don’t give a flying vith about Moltove, I tried to warn the moron that talking ill of Intrigue to Savani of ALL people, in public…ugh. Vithing idiot. To top it all off, he calls me a cunt, and a demon-thing..I’m so damned glad he was demoted I could kiss Villance’s feet in thanks. Thank Saryrn this one has little to no authority over me now….but I AM rather intrigued why he didn’t take the chance to stab me last night when I attacked Syrahia…highly intrigued indeed…but if I saw Moltove bleeding on the ground in front of me about to be set on by hungry cannibal women, or big cats..or hell. Ravenous insects…I’d just skip off on my damned merry way.

<gives a grand pearlie white smile when asked about Moltove> Hmm, Moltove. Well, let's see... <thinks about this individual for some time before responding>

I met Moltove through a friend of mine. I did not trust him as far as I can throw an ogre! I found him to be a sniveling little tramp... using others to get ahead... not playing his cards in a smart order! A man off his meds for sure! Yes, that is my pre-judgement of him.

<Looks around the room before her eyes settle on the individual asking for a description of Moltove> Then he came to my defense and I couldn't understand why he would do such a thing. Especially after I had illusioned a situation to make him believe he was a gnoll. <shrugs> But he saved my ass a couple of times. That right there made me want to get to know him in a business setting for sure. I thought to myself that this man wouldn't do something for nothing, so there had to be more to this defending me business... and I was right!

I went to him for some business dealings outside the organization. He certainely can barter his finances to come out on top. He has a way with business for sure and I like that! He knows his shit and is smarter than I had previous gave him credit for. It is no wonder that him and Solae make the perfect team or marriage, whatever they call it these days. I certainly need someone of his expertise on my side.

I am rather shocked though that others among the organization would think that I would sleep with him. I know his marriage wouldn't stop me <winks> if I had the inclination to have my way with him, but it is who he is married to that deserves my loyalty to do no such things. Otherwise I do find him attractive in an odd sort of way.

Now if only I can get him to stop hounding me about being my manager...

...it's like looking at myself in a fucking carnival mirror, the sort that warp and distort. We're two aspects of the same profession, alike and at the same time so entirely godsdamned different. But he's good. He's damn good, might even be as good as me one day.

Until the day comes that I have to kill him - and I'm sure it will - I see no reason we can't continue our friendly rivalry. Every good villain needs a foil, after all.

I rather like him. Sorry, liked him. He has talent, though I've never seen it personally. Unfortunately, it's all overshadowed in dramatic theatrics and foot-stomping hissy fits. Man up, Moltove. Admittedly, I was rather jealous of him... but there's nothing left to be jealous of. He ran to another woman, leaving my business partner rather distraught. Unfocused. It's bad for business.

So, I did what was necessary.. and what was best. Don't much care what he thinks of me, but his slinging mud on the name of our little business venture... well, that's poor form. Poor form, indeed. If he only knew what I had done for him... But that's not my job. My job isn't to shine, it's to make things work-- and I have.

Sorry, pal, but the truth hurts. What's mine is mine, and what's yours.. well, that's mine also, it seems. If you can't hold onto what you have, then perhaps you never truly deserved it.

How could he forget me? Tch. Figures. It just goes to show that people really do not pay attention to the fly on the wall, or the servant in the corner. Just as flighty and flippant as I remember.

If he gives me that look one more time I'll set him on fire and then I'll see if his brain starts working. I'm not forgettable damn it.

The Feir'dal with the split personality. I always found him odd, but he seems to get in well with Villance and Elexia back in the 'Thorn. Its no suprise then that he is with them now in that Intrigue organization.

He was always a decent solider, I faught along side him a few times when I went out exploring this or that. Decent enought for a Feir'dal, I suppose.

Not sure what his views on love and all of that are. Who knows, who cares.
