History:
Abyzou was the child of a noble family in Qeynos's royal court during the cataclysms, owners of an island called Mistholf off the coast of Karan.
As a child, she was seen as unruly and argued over many things. As she grew, she took a liking to the warlock's dark arts and troubled other nobles around her, who kept their eye on her and waited for her to tie the noose around her own neck. Just as they were getting close to something she could be charged with, Abyzou's parents were killed by an angry mob while on a visit to Mistholf, leaving her to inherit all of their land. She fled to Mistholf away from the watchful eyes of the noble court and threw herself into the dark arts as she ruled over the island.
Mistholf has peace under Abyzou's rule, but she gets it with fear. She uses hired mercs to watch the streets and people who make trouble have a habit of not being seen again. More recently, Abyzou has shown herself in Qeynos once more, creating unrest among the nobles who remember her from over a century ago.

An interesting woman with a couple surprises. She a noble of a small island fiefdom of the Qeynosian persuasion. We've spoken a few times and apparently have shared a dream. Disturbing in that more people have also reported sharing this dream. I'll have to check into that more. She tried to terrify me with a show of tremendous void power, but seeing as we were in the Raven, I wasn't overly concerned. I answered her questions, but I think she ha more on her mind concerning me. I'm not sure what, though.
She's come to the mainland to bolster her mercenary army. Seems she is expecting to be attacked soon and needs to prepare for that. The idea of running a mercenary army interests me. I'll have to check into it. I'm sure I'll run into her again. should prove... enlightening...

I've spent some time with the Lady Abyzou Za'Halja, and she's good company, though I need to really disabuse her of the notion that Khayte is responsible for our shared dreams. She's a deliciously malicious woman in her own way, and much like Darinelle, I call her "geographically good", in that while she lives and works in Qeynos, she's not really one of them, that just happens to be where her powers and wealth are, and they aren't very transplantable. I think she should rename Castle Mistholf to be "Castle Mischief", but she'll have none of it.
She's this noble who's got her own island out at sea. I dunno whether t'respect her or be alarmed. I went t'her place once. Mistholf, it's called. Real scary, guards all over th' place, everyone all on edge, gives Lucan a run for his money. I ain't sure I'd like t'go back there. It's also freezin' there, weather's awful all th' time an' I got a pretty good idea why.
Abyzou herself is one classy lady, even though she'll eat you alive f'lookin' at her funny. That ain't a figure o' speech either. Funny thing is, she feels familiar, more so than anyone else I met since my memory went bye-bye. She don't seem t'know me or at least she says she don't. Ain't sure she's tellin' th' truth there, since I'm sure I know her somehow.

She's delicious and more than shadow deep. We share a few things in common and it's a delight discovering what these are. She runs things with an iron hand, and that's not necesarily a bad thing all the time.

Seems a bit stiff, but at least knows Qeynos isn't the rosy apple some folks like to think it is. Not sure much else about her yet. I did hear she got stuck on Khayte causing her dreams which is just not so bright since Khayte doesn't have any kind of finger waggling skills to cause it. Well if you are suspicious enough you can and will suspect everyone I suppose.
She needs watching. Nobles always bear watching. Either cause they got connections, or because they believe their birthright makes 'em better then the rest. Or because they might have more money then they need. But hey someone to keep an eye on.
