Personality: She is not given to allowing her emotions to rule her head, though she takes her greatest joy in battle and her highest satisfaction in the knowledge that she has maintained her honor in pursuit of her Lord's calling. All the same, her temper, when roused, is vicious and she has a rather bloody, dry sense of humor ... though she does not often exercise it.
In some ways, she is very innocent in the ways of the world. Having given most of her time over to martial pursuits, she does not quite comprehend matters of a social nature, and certainly has no knowledge of sensual matters. And, while she recalls Old Neriak with startling clarity, she is far too young to have actually walked the pathways of the Dead.

Played by What Famous Person: Kate Beckinsale Theme Songs: With Teeth NIN
History: As far as anyone knows, she appeared in Freeport a few years ago dressed in ancient, battered armor and with a nasty wound on her chest that has since healed, leaving a scar over her heart. She spoke only Thexian at first, and another language, older and darker, but soon stopped speaking entirely after she was given quarters in Longshadow. She spent a great deal of time practicing with the old blade she'd been giving while waiting for her wounds to heal.
Since that time, she's found a place in the Sigils guild and has been seen on hunts with a Tier'dal she calls her brother, named Vanathar. Vanathar has since departed Freeport for parts unknown, but Revenent has continued on there, stopping to buy supplies as she explores the other islands, searching for something specific ...
Update: Since Vanathar left Norrath for gods know where, Revenent has served with The Discipleship and then the Bloodthorn. Also, having re-established the estate in Neriak, she is the last remaining scion of the House of Ales't. She has recently acquired a position doing piercings with Vermaat's Tattoo business, as well. Also, she has affiliated herself with the Lady Zalatea's house as a guardian. Now she has returned to Sigils, to serve with her old Order.

I had the opportunity to speak with this one a few nights back. I enjoyed our conversation. She seems devout, though not blindly so, and seems to have a good mind for things. She is an ally in Faith.

She is interesting, very wise in some things, and utterly naive about others. She seems to take things quite literally, and not always see the jest behind them. I would not want her in the audience if I was telling jokes at the Raven, her silence would be deafening.
But she is an able hunting companion, and pleasant enough company. Perhaps with time she will come to understand more of the nuances in the world around her.

The contingent of Knights in service to the Father and the Blessed One is fortunate to call this one \"sister.\" She is extremely loyal and respectful, and seeks to fulfill her Purpose in the Will as befits her noble profession. I know little about her personally, save the fact that she is much enamored of the scythe I sometimes wield. I have promised her a trip to hunt the desert spectres when she is ready so she may have one to call her own. I am pleased to call her Disciple.

A dedicated Shadow Knight. Dark, evil, Teir'Dal. Yes. But... mildly so. She's in balance, in pain, some, in agony, some, but also successful, professional, and very satisfied. Willing to grow and learn about the world beyond Teir'Dal philosophy without ever sacrificing her Teir'Dal background. She served under Erithe for a long time, and despite their many differences, she still has a fondness, and an obedience, to my mate. She's also become close to Mahamari, and the two get on oddly well. They both compliment, and torture, each other in very unconventional ways. It's something I've enjoyed watching. As for myself... Revenent is very aware of place in Teir'Dal society. She knows she has power over some, and some have power over her. I could, for example, force myself on her, and she would accept this as my right by position, so long as I held the power to do so. She doesn't WANT it, but she accepts that I could. And like any good Teir'Dal, when power is applied against her, and she can't resist it, she'll find some way to enjoy it, whatever the task, order, or company is. I can see why Erithe likes her.
You've got a superiority complex. And you've got an inferiority complex about it. Kudos - Buffy the Vampire SlayerrVideo of the Moment: 07/05/10The Fury of the Time Lordhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SC0NuBaliLs

This one quite surprised me when she came to me looking for work. She is not at all what I expected to hire or to even interview but I can see she will far surpass anything I expected.
I can tell already that there is far more to learn about her than she reveals.

A more than worthy addition to my house, and a truly fine example of a Teir'dal. She sees the Hate in a person, and respects based on that, and not race. She knows that power determines who does what, and accepts it as a fact of life, without complaint or whimper. She is a rounded person, in that she feels many emotions, but has the sense and ladyship to know when to keep feelings in check, and close to her chest.
A capable warrior, a worthy steward of my house, and near peerless in her devotion and fighting ability. Stalwart, motivated, and dignified.

"I believe this one to have her uses, I do not see emotional influence to be something of a hinderence to this Knight. Which is something I do prefer when having to associate with other ring-wearers. Her information appears to be unbiased and loyalty lies on the Lady Shadow's command. How efficent."

I -like- Revenent. I get the feeling we could get together and work, fully focused, and enjoying the presence of someone else capable of such focus.
The problem is, finding work we would both enjoy. I don't know her well yet, but so far the only passion I have seen in her is for battle and bloodshed. Don't get me wrong, I like battle and bloodshed as much as any other spellslinger, but it isn't my burning drive - unless I'm angry.
I want her as a friend, so I'll have to make some effort. No matter, challenges do not dissuade me.

A huntress of the most perfect kind. I have nothing but respect for her. I hope to never be her prey. Her eyes, focused. Thinking about it, what it makes me think of. A falcon's eye. Huntress of the sky, never missing anything, seeing the whole picture. Controlled power, fast. Anyone she hunts, will be caught. This I know. I stand in awe of her.

She took me on my first trip to Neriak and showed me her house. She seems interesting. She was kind enough to help me with my Thexian. She said we might hunt together some time. I would like that. I learn so much from hunting with others, though I hunt mostly on my own.
She has such tradition in her life. I have little at all of such a thing. It is interesting to see what it is like having such a history.
Neriak appeared beautiful. And Revenent's house was impressive. I wonder if I would ever brave the Font of Tears. Would there be something on which I needed such clarity as to risk my life?
