Re: The Show
Beat. She clicked the leads into the dataport In the back of her neck. Beat. The base synchronization signal filled the back of her mind. Beat. Tiny programs started setting up a lattice framework in her brain. Spaces there started to open up. Beat. A warm sensation started to flow into the spaces i...

Re: The Show
The jet's engines surged louder. Their whine increased in pitch furiously as the the chartered air jet lurched ahead in the mad rush to get into the sky. The concert had been over a few hours, everything broken down and packed away. The band was traveling with her a few seats down, chatting mostly w...

The Show
The buzzing sensation picked up another octave. In the back of her head she was sitting down in a simple chair, watching the show from a small room. A large picture window showed her body on the podium, dancing like some loa possessed woman in a cheap Haitian tourist bar. The glowing leads leading d...

I have moved it to a more permanent startup routine as a service, and updated the first page instructions. I still have to fix a couple things, but its working!

Re: [MC] Fort Huggable: Minecraft Server
Update! Well, there is good news and bad news. There are compatible versions of the two mods we usually use for Minecraft! Forestry and Twilight Forest. I can upgrade the server to 1.12.2... The bad news is that it can't be straight moved over, Minecraft gets persnippity on world versions that old a...

I am very curious about this. I am also wondering if this is an attempt to bring in some of the DS9/TNG fans back into the fold.

Turkey Soup!
We're quite a ways away from Thanksgiving, but sometimes turkeys go on sale, and you want to cook a bird. But what about what is left over after? Sure, cooking a turkey is not rocket surgery, but I always figured, why only use the meat on a bird only? You can get a lot more meals out of it afterward...

Life can suck a lot. And family that is self destructive can wear on you.

Re: Wonton Soup!
Follow up note: I do love making this, and should note something. If you intend to save these for use a later day, freeze them quick and carefully, as the wonton wrapper can absorb liquid from the filling and become doughy and be hard to separate. I layered a few on top of each other in flat tupper...

Hello! I can sometimes be online but tend to get busy during normal peak RP times.
Most taverns run something during the week. Slipps did a RP tavern guide that tells places and groups, very nice.

Re: Posts from Whoville (Doctor Who)
Yeah, this was Moffat doing his typical screwing things up because he can do no wrong because he once wrote that really popular episode. George Lucas syndrome. If they REALLY wanted to include the "Smacked bottom" comment as a call back to that doctor... (not sure why) they should have had him remar...

Re: [Poll] Is Smite's Fabulous a Step Backward?
Its a bit of a complex issue. I can see how some people might get tired of Rainbows, Unicorns, and glitter... but others enjoy it and find it a fun way to express themselves. Does it hurt LGBTQ image to be closely identified with such things still? Hard to say. Some people want to move on, and be se...

Re: [MC] Fort Huggable: Minecraft Server
Been a bit busy on other projects a while. Mostly been trying to make sure things are running for those who want to play still. Been looking into some updates for the server. Right now the hangup is Twilight Forest. Which I really like but not sure how much others do. It seems to add in a lot of fun...

Re: Ghost in the Shell (live action movie)
I've read the manga, and seen most of the GITS: Stand Alone Complex (which is the best and most in depth part IMNSHO). They did explain that she is supposed to have a very common cybernetic body design to both avoid being noticed and targeted by people looking to kidnap/steal her for parts (Some cyb...

Re: Requsting a return of Vox
Honestly, I prefer to have a reasonable and enlightened discussion of issues with people, but I know in this day and age it is VERY likely divisiveness will occur. Either by outside influences intending to drive a wedge, or trolls who want to start trouble. I don't know if this is the best time to d...

Re: Oh my god, Horizons still exists...
I recall when it was announced years back, most races had a few sliders to modify the appearance of their characters, Dragons had something like 20.
Also, I think at the start the dwarves had human arms, looked kind of like orangutans.
