This just gets weirder. Will we ever see Gilliam's passion project that took him decades to make?

Seems odd to me that someone who felt obviously invested in the film would fight so hard to prevent it being seen.

I know very little of European law. They must have something similar as an injunction to stop a film in dispute from shown, until that dispute was resolved?

If no such ruling existed, Gilliam and Cannes were okay to do as they did.

Ruling in favor of your investment? Wonderful. Now he can take direct pride in being associated with the film. Upon further distribution his name would need to now be attached. And rightfully so.
