History: Shalour grew up in Kelethin with his sister and brother, his brother became overcome by lust and killed their sister’s mate to gain her for himself, instead she died of grief through starvation and Aodhen pinned the crime on Shalour and he had to flee.

He spent the last eight years of his life in the Butcherblock mountains after being bitten by a Lycan, from then on he embraced nature to an extreme and forgotten his wood elven side for years on end until the memories slowly seeped back in, he sought companionship and ended up joining the Vagabond Knights, now a daily struggle to balance out his civil and feral sides, determined to fit in while holding onto his inner selves, he is wolf and wood elf.

After various conflicts Shalour had settled down and married Kaennara, until one night, he realized that slowly something was different and wrong, she deserved better and eventually he decided that it had been best to split them apart, just before he went missing into the plain of tactic. Now He has returned, missing quite a lot among his pack, including the news that he has a son.

Trying on and olf to fit back in, Shalour became more and more reclusive. Eventully, he made the decision to stick to just his wolf form, what felt right and natural for him. So he fled into the wilderness without a word, where's remained until now.

"He is odd and you cannot miss the rank odor around him from the garlic coffee he drinks. I suggested they run him through boot camp. He won't be allowed to drink that vile crap and all the exercise will help purge it from him so he won't smell like a fouled swamp anymore. Apparently, he has to be worked with slowly and carefully so as not to harm his delicate sensibilities. I still stand by my boot camp suggestion. It will make him into a man while purging him of that disgusting habit he has gotten into or kill him. Either way, it is a positive outcome for those around him. Strength in Unity!"

"He is among the more strange ones I have encountered... he drinks garlic coffee. And smells like a wet dog. Other than that he seems pleasant enough."

Shalour...Your quite the odd one, Indeed. Young, yet eager to be a knight. You have a future ahead of you, I would believe.

Sah, and why do you drink Garlic Cofee?!

"He has been determined to have a case of The Pansies almost as bad as Camjager. A week's worth of boot camp for him." The LC grins enigmatically and urges her steed up to a walk, "Strength in Unity!"

The Dark Duke smiles a warm almost friendly smile at the name. "What can I say, he is a nice boy, cute to some I think. I fear his life span will not be long unless he learns to learn. Pity about his bloodline, terrible curse to carry. I also fear he is overburdened with a sense of loyalty and duty, but this only makes him a more valuable commodity, if he is to be used." He leans back in the plush chair. "And if I have my way, he will be."

Shalour... What to think of him? He's like a child... a big furry child. He's still to understand his place and responsibilities. He will be used by many if we don't teach him. The problem is how. I have no idea what to do to get through to him. Maybe the other Lycans can.

She looks thoughtful when asked of Shalour. "He is very young and naive. He looks for the best in everyone, which may be his downfall if he is not careful. he is far too trusting, especially for one like him. But he is a good young man, and with guidance he could be one to watch."

**opens the door to her Halasian villa and looks at the Scribe standing on her frozen steps**

"Yes? ... sure you can come in but you have to stay on the rug by the door .. I dont want your snow covered boots all over my newly tiled living area"

**steps out of the way letting the Scribe enter her home**

"So what is that I can help you with? Shalour .. hmmm yes I have met him .. makes a mean cucumber sandwich. The conversation was pleasant until he mentioned killing a deer and ripping the meat and eating it .."

**the Scribe starts to scribble something down as she continued**

"I found the topic of conversation disgusting ... I mean only animals eat raw ..raw meat ... one should always attempt to cook it .. even if they enjoy it blood and rare."

**the Scribe finished writing and smiled at her and turned and walked from the villa pulling the door tight behind him**

The Butler lets him in, announces him and escorts him to a small sitting space. He is offered a drink and refreshments. As he waits, he risks a glance around. He sits on the edge of his chair, the one thought repeating in his mind "she wouldn't want blood here".

As she enters, she pauses. Her eyes widen and a soft genuine laugh escapes her lips. "No, I do not want blood spilled here". Seeing him relax, she adds almost teasingly "But then I don't need to shed blood to harm" He gulps. She joins him, sitting on a soft chair and leaning back. "You sent an odd request this time" Her voice curious. "Shalour? Why do you seek knowledge of that one?" As the Scribe gives some vague story, she shakes her head.

"I will tell you what many see and then what I see. myself" Her eyes darken as she plans her words. "Shalour is eager, young and impressionable. He acts often without seeming to think first. He takes risks, seeks the dangers almost as if drawn." She taps her hand on her knee, a slight show of agitation. "He has chosen a dangerous enemy, I believe". A soft sigh, "But... I also see this. He rarely repeats a mistake, learns from them. He shows dedication and a sense of protectiveness that guides him into the situations he is often involved. He has his own path, it is one many would avoid, yet.......... He walks it. Sometimes, I think he is alone on his journey, but then...." she hesitates here for a long moment.

"I don't think he is alone.......he is one to watch"

With that, the Butler returns and hurries the Scribe away. As he leaves, he swears he can hear laughter in the House, a laughter soft and amused and bright even more for the location deep within Neriak's noble homes.

((Posted as Edisan Spannerlok, my gnome paladin/tinkerer))

Shalour? Yes, of course I know him, I'm working on a very special project for him!

Some weeks ago, uh I don't really know how many it's been, I've lost track of time a bit, it's a fascinating project really.. Huh? Right, back on topic. Back then, there had been a discussion over some trouble he'd gotten into, and it was determined that unfortunately his brain is defective. So I was contracted to build him a new one! A State-of-the-Art marvel of modern Tinkering!

The first and most important specification was an end to his Garlic Coffee habit. So his new brain, when complete, will be programmed for drinking Gnomish Spirits. Only the best libation, naturally. Other specifications have been added as the project has progressed.

Hm? Oh, quite. At first, Shalour wasn't in favor of the project. Claimed he's very attached to his defective brain. Well, there's no reason it can't be preserved in a jar for him. Anyway, lately he's become much more interested in the project, despite some unfortunate setbacks.

What setbacks, you ask? Oh, they go beyond the usual miscalibrations. For instance, I installed the first functional prototype in a mobile testing platform, and sent it out to The Spider to test the Socialization Module. But somehow it took a 3 story fall and was significantly damaged. I hadn't expected that an alpha prototype would need to be durable. Then, over the course of repairs, my schematics went missing! Shalour blames the Geargobbler. Can you believe he believes that old fairy tale?

Anyway, the second stage alpha prototype is nearly complete, and Shalour has volunteered to help test the Learning Module, by teaching his new brain how to go camping. It's so nice to see someone other than a fellow gnome take such an interest in Advanced Tinkering! I'm looking forward to seeing the results of this test.

Rivir opens the door of the door of the estate and stares at the scribe as if she were either going to flee or he was going to assault her with his quill.

Shal? Oh, uh.. he's a bit green. He's a good guy, and a good friend. I think he's a little 'too' nice if you know what I mean, but hey, that's Shal and I'm grateful to know him.

She doesn't wait for anymore questions, after a quick glance to see if anyone else is outside the estate she promptly closes the door and several locks can be heard clicking into place.
